BLVD Residences at Melbourne Square

Project Overview

BLVD Residences represents the prominent second stage of the landmark Melbourne Square precinct in Southbank, delivered for the end developer OSK. This impressive high-rise tower is designed to incorporate approximately 500 premium residences tailored for modern urban lifestyles. The building’s overarching framework prioritises vertical community integration, environmental performance, and holistic occupant wellness.

Technical Engineering & Energy Efficiency

Engaged directly by the principal contractor, Multiplex, Co-Perform delivered specialised building performance analysis and energy efficiency assessments for the project. The scope of work encompassed detailed environmental compliance testing and building envelope analysis across all self-contained residential dwellings as well as the substantial shared common spaces.

Through predictive performance modelling, Co-Perform ensured that the structural and thermal assets achieve optimal energy efficiency profiles, assisting Multiplex in meeting strict project performance guidelines while safeguarding long-term occupant thermal comfort.

Wellbeing & Sustainability Frameworks

Beyond standard thermal performance metrics, Co-Perform contributed specialist expertise to help the project align with international WELL Building Standards. Reflecting a shared commitment to health-centric architecture, Co-Perform’s engineering inputs focused on strategic parameters including indoor air quality management, circadian lighting access, acoustic attenuation, and advanced water filtration infrastructure. This rigorous engineering framework ensures the tower actively minimises environmental stressors and maximises health outcomes for its future residents.

Current Status

The project is currently under active construction by Multiplex, with structural works advancing on-site to deliver a sustainable, health-optimised benchmark for high-density residential developments in Victoria.
